  • Pre-Cana Instructions for couples planning marriage with Jim and Michelle Bockin, offering the required Diocese of Trenton instructional program on weekends twice yearly with Monsignor Ken to approximately 21 couples planning to wed. jbockinjr@comcast.net.

 

  • RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) Steve and Judy Seeley with the assistance of Steve Wagner have helped an average of 20 persons annually who will be Baptized and receive the Sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation at the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at St. Mary of the Pines.  Also, adults who are baptized in another Christian faith will become Catholic and receive those Sacraments at the same Easter Saturday Vigil.  Baptized Catholics will go to Trenton to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Pentecost Sunday, May 23, 2010. justseel@aol.com.  The group studies every other Tuesday.

 

  • Scripture Sharing every Tuesday at 10:00 am in the Charlie Kiger Conference Room

 

  • Fred Kutner, 693-5029), who offers his assistance with the Men’s Ministries including:

Bible and Bagels after the 8:00 am Mass on the first Saturday of each month at the Monsignor Reinbold Hall, and a newly formed Father’s Group.

 

  • Irene Kutner’s Women’s groups include; Monica’s Daughters, Women’s Bible Sharing and the Mom’s Group.

 

  • At a meeting of the Evangelization Team on January 18, 2010, our members discussed ways to reach out to our youth.  Dave O’Neill spoke about a modern way to communicate through technology.   Deacon Dan Miller has also agreed to be part of our Evangelization Team.

 
 

Spring Bereavement Support Group

By the tender mercy of God, the dawn

Faith-based support groups are an appropriate and effective way to help us heal spiritually as well as emotionally while we live our grief in the hope of Christ.  Using a workbook, our goal is to provide support in a prayerful, non-judgmental environment .  We ask, “Where is God in my suffering?”  Our facilitated eight-week program for adults begins at 12:30 pm on, Friday, April 9th in the meeting room in St. Mary of the Pines.  Registration is the first week only, after which membership is closed.  We invite participants to remain after the meeting for Benediction and Divine Mercy Devotion in the church.  For information on this group, please call Ettye Hurley at 597-4529.
