Religious Education Program News

March

• Our home study groups will meet for the final time on Thursday, March 25^th for grades 1 – 4 and Thursday, April 15^th for grades 4-6 from 6:15 – 7:30 pm.
  
  
• Our summer program students will meet for the final time on Thursday, April 22^nd from 6:15 – 7:30 pm.
  
  
• There will be a family Easter celebration on Palm Sunday, March 28^th from 10:00 – 12:00.  The families will walk with Jesus beginning Holy Thursday through his Resurrection on Easter Sunday.

April

• Our RCIA children and adults will be initiated into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil on Saturday evening, April 3^rd.  Congratulations to all and wlecome in our church community.
  
  
• Our second grade students will particpate in a Eucharist Retreat on Saturday, April 17^th from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.

May

• Our 2^nd graders will receive the Sacrament of Eucharist during the month of May.  Let’s welcome them to the table of the Lord with open arms.  Congratulations to all.

• Our C.U.P.  students will receive Eucharist at the 9:30 am Mass on Sunday, May 2^nd.  The students will crown Mary after the mass.   There will be a May Crowning at the church in Barnegat on Sunday, May 9^th after the 12:00 mass.   All children are welcome to attend; students who received Communion this year should wear their Communion clothes.
  
  
• The 6^th grade final make-up test will be on Wednesday evenings, May 12, 6:15 pm and May 19, 6:15 pm.

Registrations – Religious Education Classes

• We will be taking early registrations beginning April 15 through May 30.  The earlier you register the better chance you will have of getting the day and time you need.

• Registration for the summer program will be Monday, May 17^th at 9:00 am at the REP building in Manahawkin.  We will not accept mail-ins or drop-offs for this registration.
